• Advocating for the enactment of a “legal text” on tax reform for CSOs, with a view to ensure donors to CSOs enjoy tax benefits, which will stimulate and promote individuals and companies to donate to the women’s rights movement;
• Advocating for the ‘legal text’ surrounding reproductive health rights.

Specific objective:

1. I. Increased communication and advocacy skills of TC civil society. Capacity of TC and GC media professionals is developed and awareness about peace journalism is raised.
2. TC Civil Society community has a co-working space, and thus networking and cooperation between NGO’s is increased by working together in the co-working space. Networking and cooperation between TC and GC media professionals increased by providing them a work hub, and raising their

Specific objectives of this action are:

1. To raise awareness about refugees and the human rights issues that affect them as well as other marginalised groups;
2. To strengthen RRA as a key actor for safeguarding human rights;
3. To promote a culture of voluntarism;
4. To increase awareness of refugees of their economic, social and cultural rights and their ability to exercise them through combating discrimination based on race and gender;
5. To place safeguards against the violation of rights of refugees through increased sector based networking at regional and European level as well as across the Green Line;
6. To promote active citizenship via lobbying for legislative change through the introduction of a draft legal text.

• Extent of the environmental awareness status of Cypriot society is determined through the undertaking of baseline and end-of-project surveys.
• Minimum 10% increase in the level of environmental awareness in the northern part of Cyprus by project end.
• Capacity of at least 59 representatives of the applicant, co-applicant and other key stakeholders in terms of knowledge on recycling, perception management and advocacy is increased.
• Aluminium can collection, sorting and baling system in operation.
• Minimum 10% increase in the mass of aluminium cans collected and sent for recycling by project end.
• Stakeholder dialogue is significantly increased in order to develop a recycling framework as a part of solid waste management strategy.

Specific objective:

• Better equipped beekeepers following the completion of the BIRS procurement in the end of month 6;
• Statistical data on beekeeping is established in the northern part of Cyprus in the end of month 18;
• Institutional capacity of the applicants is increased with the trainings and study visits in the end of month 23;
• Increased awareness and knowledge of the target groups about the importance of bees and sustainable environment by the end of month 18;

Specific objectives;

• Stimulate social and political dialogue on Human Rights (including Youth) issues in Cypras through awareness-raising, capacity building and advocacy.
• Support bi-communal social entrepreneurship activities for Youth as a tool for confidencebuilding.
• Support island-wide networking to build cooperation and capacity to influence change.
• Build Human Rights capacity of professionals as potential agents for change within their occupations and society generally.
• Build organisational capacity of the co-applicants to deliver the project and ensure sustainability.

• 120 vulnerable Youth across the island trained on Human Rights, social entrepreneurship and conflict resolution;
• 60 professionals trained as Ambassadors to increase the outreach of the action’s message on Human Rights;
• At least 9 financial support projects implemented related to Human Rights and Youth social entrepreneurship;
• Exchange of knowledge increased through the organisation of 2 network activities; ® 100 vulnerable Youth counselled on repeated occasions either with legal or psychological support.

1. Artists from both communities attending contemporary Art workshops increase their mutual understanding and tolerance, and gain creativity, self-awareness, and problems analysis skills.
2. Art works produced (by young artists, children and youth from villages and adult artists) are exhibited in various locations, providing visibility to the programmes and enabling the sharing and transfer of experiences to a broader audience.
3. Methodology and visuals from residency programmes activity are compiled in a tri-lingual catalogue for awareness raising purpose and experience sharing.
4. Children and young people living in rural areas across Cyprus establish closer relations with the other community through Art creation.
5. Parents of children and youth engaged in Ait programmes increase mutual-understanding and tolerance of Cypriots from the other community.
6. 125 Turkish Cypriots artists and art lovers enhance their knowledge & skills on Contemporary Art and learn that it is more than mere aesthetics; but questioning & dealing with contemporary sociopolitical issues (e.g. peace, reconciliation, gender, ecology, concepts of other, identity, migration, human rights).
7. The applicants, associates & other participating stakeholders are able to increase their capacity to network and by doing so promote inter-communal activities.

Specific objectives:

1. To promote capacity building and skills development in non-conventional areas, such as marine litter management
2. To promote the Good Environmental Status of the marine environment
3. To promote blue jobs (jobs within the maritime sector) and blue careers (careers within the maritime sector) to address the marine litter problem
4. To achieve European and international networking opportunities and create regional synergies

Estimated Results:

1. Increased understanding and awareness of marine litter issues;
2. Increased technical capacities of local authority staff, shipping industry, fishing industry and educators;
3. More educated and aware youth on the possibilities of employment in the ‘blue’ sector;
4. Greater trust and cooperation between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots;
5. Increased capacity in partner NGOs for international cooperation and participation in other actions.

The specific objectives of the action are:

1. Increase the capacity building of members of NGOs and the applicant organizations in promoting practices supporting a Culture of Peace;
2. To engage educators from both communities in a dialogical process where the needs for implementing Culture of Peace initiatives will be identified and analysed;
3. Provide opportunities for educators and learners to apply Education for Peace methodology in their educational settings;
4. Provide participants the opportunity to spread the message of peace to their peers, their families and the community;
5. Produce joint educational material;
6. Bring youth together through theatre in order to promote reconciliation;
7. Set Cyprus as an example for future initiatives in Europe and elsewhere through the organization of an International Conference on Culture of Peace and a publication on how to integrate Education for a Culture of Peace in divided societies.

2. To train youth educators to use sport to promote reconciliation and wellness;
3. To equip youth with tools to make healthy living choices and live better, more peaceful lives.

1. A culture of positive inter-group attitudes and increased confidence, trust and desire for peace and reconciliation among Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot young people;
2. Increased capacity of Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot educators trained to facilitate reconciliation and the promotion of wellness;
3. Increased health and educational opportunities for Cypriot youth.

1. Data collection on examples of intangible cultural heritage (songs, folk dances, tales, lullabies and traditional Cypriot poems) shared by both communities throughout Cyprus.
2. Minimum 500 people will be reached by concerts and folkdance performances. Three performances by the two associations will take place each including one musical performance and one dance show. Two performances will be on either side of the Green Line and one performance will take place in the buffer zone (this will also be the closing event)
3. Minimum 100 people will be reached via presentations about the project and research. Three presentations will take place. One on either side of the Green Line in the premises of the two associations, and one will take place during the conference on cultural heritage in Limassol (this will also be the opening event).
4. Kontea Heritage Association and Folk-Der will participate in a folk dance festival in another EU country.
5. Increase of awareness in both communities about their common intangible cultural heritage.

The specific objectives:

1. To establish a fully equipped regional environmental centre with a 50-persons capacity in the potential Agia Eirini/Akdeniz Natura 2000 site for running awareness-raising and capacity-building activities in cooperation with local NGOs and rural actors;
2. To develop sustainable tourism;
3. To preserve natural resources, biodiversity, environment and public health.

1. To identify and collect reliable data relating to domestic violence against women and children in the northern part of Cyprus;
2. To increase the capacity of social services, the Turkish Cypriot Bar Association, enforcement bodies, teachers, media officials and health services in dealing with cases of domestic violence against women and children;
3. To raise awareness on domestic violence against women and children in the northern part of Cyprus;
4. To empower women and children to seek support in cases of domestic violence;
5. To establish a monitoring mechanism that reports results of “court” cases relating to domestic violence against women and children in family and criminal “courts”;
6. To set up a ‘sponsor’ network of private companies that will prioritise survivors of domestic violence during the recruitment processes;
7. To lobby and advocate for the effective implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence.
